Graduate/Undergraduate Accountant

About Us
We're looking for an Undergraduate/Graduate Accountant to join our Finance team based at Eagle Farm head office. You'll support our national operations and includes an experienced and supportive group of Accountants.

G.James Glass and Aluminium is Australia's leading integrated glass, aluminium window and door manufacturer and contractor. Our privately owned, family company employs over 2000 people with operations throughout Australia.

The role
We will provide you with training, development, and exposure so you can:

• Gain a thorough understanding of key accounting functions such as payables, receivables, general ledger, purchasing, and inventory.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuations and timely stock reconciliations.
• Provide in-depth inventory analysis to support business decision-making.
• Process various inventory-related period-end journals (including COGS) and prepare related month-end reconciliations.
• Help identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting systems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the G.James network.

About You

• Business/Commerce degree (or working towards completion) with a major in accounting. (desirable).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Autonomous, intuitive, and capable of problem-solving with minimal guidance.
