Job title: Shift Mechanical Fitter (2days day shift & 2days night shift)

Location: Matraville NSW

Salary: North of $150k salary package

Work hours:

Day Shift 6am-6pm

Night Shift 6pm-6am

About the role

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and process machinery used in pulp and paper production facilities. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and be part of a global company known for innovation, safety, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and unplanned breakdown repairs
• Install, align, and commission machinery and mechanical components (e.g. rollers, pumps, valves, conveyors, rotating equipment)
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform corrective action to minimize downtime

Qualifications and Skills

• Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting (Cert III or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, or process plant environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
