Support Worker - Disability/Youth - Brisbane North

Currently we are building our workforce across Brisbane's Northern suburbs from Chermside to Caboolture and the Redcliffe area so we can provide support to our ever-growing client base in the region.  So, if you are someone that has a passion for helping others and experience within a heath or community setting, we would love to have you join the team.

Duties include:

  • Providing personal care assistance
  • Assisting with light domestic duties and social support.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the people you support.
  • Follow established care plans.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Respond to crisis situations, offering immediate support and collaborating with appropriate authorities.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, assessments, and program outcomes.
  • Work positively and collaborate with team members to ensure the highest care and support provided.

Requirements: 

  • Cert III in Individual support or another relevant field. (Disability)
  • Cert IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or relevant certification (Youth)
  • Current First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain)
  • Current (Paid) Working with Children check (or willing to obtain)
  • Recent and relevant experience in a similar role
  • 2 professional references
  • Unrestricted Australian Driver's License (required if providing community access support, driving facility vehicles)
  • Comprehensive Car Insurance (or willing to obtain - required if using own vehicle for work purposes)
