About the role Billet Engineering is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Stores/Purchasing professional to join our dynamic West Kalgoorlie-based team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing our inventory, processing orders, and supporting our overall procurement operations. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading manufacturing and logistics company.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the efficient management of our inventory, including stock control, ordering, and delivery coordination

  • Processing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all stock levels, orders, and deliveries

  • Identifying opportunities to improve inventory management and procurement processes

  • Providing support to the wider operations team as required

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a stores/purchasing role, ideally within a manufacturing or logistics environment

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively

  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records

  • Proficiency in using inventory management and procurement software

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders

  • A proactive and problem-solving mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement
