As the Fleet Controller / Allocator at Ozwide Freight, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of our growing and busy business. Based in our Crestmead depot, this will be a full-time position with a negotiable salary.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:

• Fleet and Dispatch Management - allocate trucks and drivers for pickups and deliveries, optimising routes and ensuring maximised use of vehicles and resources.
• Scheduling and Coordinating - manage daily schedules, coordinate driver rosters and ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
• Communication - liaise with internal staff and management to provide updates on local pickups and deliveries.
• Record Keeping - maintain accurate records and ensure high standards of organisation and compliance are followed.
• Problem Solving - identify and resolve logistical or operational challenges to minimise delays and maintain service levels.

What you require to be successful:

• Previous experience is essential
• A current Forklift Licence (LF) is essential
• A positive attitude
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain focus on priorities within a fast-paced environment
• Clear and positive communication with customers, drivers and internal teams
• Capacity to identify and resolve logistical issues efficiently
• Ability to work with and manage integrated IT systems used for logistics and transport
