Apprentice Machinist

We're offering an Apprenticeship in Machining, working with a range of CNC milling and turning machines. You'll develop strong hands-on skills and technical knowledge across a variety of machining projects — from one-off precision components to small production runs.

Applicants must be at least 15 years of age to be eligible for this apprenticeship position.

Applicants must have completed a minimum of Year 10 education.

Applicants with relevant experience may be eligible for higher salary. We pay above award for our apprentices.

What you'll be doing:

• Learning CNC milling and turning
• Assisting with precision machining projects across diverse industries
• Gaining exposure to limited fitting and fabrication work
• Working on complex, jobs that demand accuracy and problem-solving

Our workshop handles a broad range of challenging work for industries including medical, industrial, mining, and general engineering. We specialise in the smaller, more intricate end of machining, providing support to our in-house engineering team and a wide range of external clients.

• Commitment to completing your apprenticeship training
• Basic workshop exposure would be helpful but not essential
• Applicants must have appropriate work rights to work in Australia
