We are seeking Chefs to join our staffing agency working across Aged Care Facilities in Angleseaon a casual basis.

About the position: As a Chef, you will be tasked with preparing quality meals for residents in aged care facilities. You will be familiar with diet types, textures, fluid consistencies and temperature as well as with resident food and fluid care plans. Position includes:

  • Preparing and presenting food for our residents
  • Maintaining a clean working environment
  • Adherence to food hygiene & safety practices
  • Stock ordering, rotation and stocktaking
  • Providing fast, effective service with a positive attitude
  • Preparing and presenting texture modified foods

Requirements:

  • You're a confident, compassionate, and organised Chef with experience in Aged Care.
  • You have experience in kitchens and food preparation
  • You have trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent
  • You hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (desirable)
  • You hold a current NDIS workers check, Police Check and can provide an immunisation record
