About The Role
As a Classroom Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of your students. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, assess and monitor student progress, and provide meaningful feedback to support their growth. Working collaboratively with colleagues and families, you will contribute to whole-school initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement and wellbeing. To be successful in this role, you will have a sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum, a well-developed self-awareness and the capabilities to reflection on your own performance, with an aim to continue to grow and develop as a classroom practitioner. An interest in and understanding of the Science of Learning, and its underpinnings in the system initiative 'Catalyst' is also desirable.

This appointment is temporary to replace an employee who is on leave or secondment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Teaching or Master of Teaching
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) clearance
  • ACT Teacher Quality Institute (TQI) registration
