About the role

Glenroofing Pty Ltd is seeking two enthusiastic Apprentice Metal Roofers and one Qualified Metal Roofer to join our dynamic team in Taree, NSW. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for the installation and repair of metal roofing materials, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

What you'll be doing

  1. Prepare and install a variety of metal roofing materials, including corrugated iron, sheet metal.
  2. Carry out roof repairs and maintenance work as required
  3. Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice
  4. Comply with all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
  5. Assist more experienced team members and learn new skills through on-the-job training

What we're looking for

  1. A keen interest in the building trades industry and a willingness to learn
  2. Good problem-solving and practical skills
  3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  4. Strong attention to detail and quality of work
  5. For the qualified role, a minimum of 3 years' experience in metal roofing installation and repair
    • Valid White Card (Construction Induction)
  7. Working at Heights ticket
  8. Current driver's licence
    • *For Apprentice positions:**
  10. Completion of Year 10 or equivalent
  11. Willingness to enrol in apprenticeship training
  12. *For Qualified position:**
  13. Completed Metal Roofing apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
  14. Minimum 3 years' experience in metal roofing installation and repair
  15. • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa
  16. • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and drawings (for qualified role)
