Tasks and responsibilities: Establishing job requirements from drawings and specifications, andlaying out installation reference pointsDrilling holes, installing mounting brackets and cutting, bending andthreading pipingInstalling and repairing components such as compressors, motors,condensers, evaporators, switches and gauges, and copper lines for steam, gas,refrigerant, compressed air, oil and chilled waterBolting, soldering, riveting, welding and brazing pipes to connectequipment, and checking alignment and accuracy of fitFilling systems with gas or fluid to check for leaksTest -operating refrigeration systems, checking mechanisms and makingadjustmentsRemoving test gas and fluid using vacuum pumps, and filling withrefrigerantChecking and overhauling refrigeration systems, diagnosing faults andrepairing and replacing defective componentsAdjusting system controls and mechanisms and reassembling systemsRecording causes of malfunctioning and action taken RequirementsMinimum experience as a Electricians - RefrigerationMechanic for 3 -5 yearsAQF Certificate III including at least two years ofon -the -job training, or AQF Certificate IV Benefits Employer Sponsored Visa
