About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and creative School Photographer & Media Coordinator to join our Marketing team. Reporting directly to the Marketing Lead and in consultation with the School Campus Heads, this role is vital in capturing, curating, and amplifying the vibrant student life and achievements across all campuses of the Academy.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the Marketing Lead and school staff to generate high-quality visual content, drive digital engagement, and maintain visual consistency across all platforms. This role offers the opportunity to initiate new ideas, contribute to long-term growth strategies, and bring energy and innovation to our digital presence.
Key Responsibilities
· Photography & Videography – Core Priority (70%)
· Attend and photograph school events, activities, and key milestones across all four campuses.
· Capture high-quality images and footage that reflect student success, school spirit, and AIAE's values.
Content Creation & Strategy:
· Develop engaging, on-brand social media content (graphics, reels, carousels, stories, and posts with marketing graphic designer).
· Schedule, document, and publish content across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
· Collaborate with the Marketing Lead to strategies campaign rollouts and seasonal content calendars.
· Assist with branding campaigns, cross-campus projects, and major school events (e.g., Open Days, Exhibitions, Graduation, etc.).
Digital Asset Management:
· Collect, organise, and archive all photography and video content securely using external hard drives and Google Drive team folders.
· Ensure all digital files are easily retrievable and logically named for future marketing use.
Collaboration & Growth:
· Work closely with the Marketing Lead to implement the school's marketing vision and style guide.
· Take initiative to propose new content ideas, improvements, and growth opportunities for social platforms.
· Contribute to the visual storytelling and branding development of the Academy.
About You – Skills & Qualifications:
· Proven experience in photography, videography, and digital content creation.
· Strong skills in Lightroom, Premiere Pro.
· Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
· Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple campus locations.
· A keen eye for visual storytelling, detail, composition, and audience engagement.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Previous experience in a school or educational environment helpful.
· Traveling requirements also.
Prerequisites
· A valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) – essential.
· A current driver's license and reliable transport.
· Related qualifications (favorable)
· Flexibility to attend events across campuses and outside regular hours as needed.
Child Safety Responsibilities

· Ensure all images and content created respect child safety and privacy requirements and follow the Academy's privacy guidelines.

All staff at AIAE are expected to:
· Act in accordance with school policies, including Child Safe Standards.
· Promote a culture of respect and safety for all children.
· Work collaboratively to represent the Academy's values and mission through their work.
· Undertake regular Child Safe professional learning and development on campus and off campus.
· Attending annual 'Mandatory Reporting' - Child Safe professional development learning.
