Job description:

Access Covers Australia Pty Ltd is seeking experienced & motivated team members to work in its precast concreting division in Tullamarine.

Shift 6am till 2pm , with Weekends & overtime available.

The Role:

The duties and responsibilities of this role will include:

• Demonstrated commitment to health, safety, and the environment

• Laboring and manual handling

• Cleaning & maintenance of tools & equipment

• Preparation & Cleaning of formwork

• Pouring of concrete products and assembling molds

• Finishing concrete products

• Read and interpret shop drawings

• Comply with QA requirements

• Maintaining a tidy and organized factory environment

Profile:

To be a strong candidate you will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Previous experience in concreting and general construction

• Previous experience in the preparation of formwork

• Experience in the use of power tools & concrete tools

• Ability to work effectively in a team

• Strong commitment to safety

• Reliable and ability to work unsupervised

• Current Drivers license

• Forklift, overhead crane license preferred, but not essential

• Dogging & Rigging experience preferred, but not essential

• Experience in the manufacture, preparation, welding & tying of steel reinforcement cages preferred, but not essential
