Tall Tree Early Learning | Located in White Gum Valley | Full-Time

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Teacher / Educational Leader to join our brand-new 94-place centre at Tall Tree Early Learning White Gum Valley. This is a unique opportunity for an Educator who enjoys mentoring educators, designing meaningful learning experiences, and building strong relationships with children and families.

As the Educational Leader two days a week, you will guide the development and implementation of high-quality educational programs for children aged 0–5. You will also support and inspire our team of educators, working closely with the Centre Director and leadership team to maintain excellence across the centre.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of high-quality, play-based learning programs tailored to children's developmental stages and individual interests.
• Develop strong, respectful relationships with children that foster their sense of belonging and well-being.
• Partner with families to support each child's learning journey, maintaining open, ongoing communication.
• Document children's learning and development through observations, learning stories, and individual portfolios.
• Create an engaging, inclusive, and safe learning environment that supports exploration and discovery.
• Collaborate with the Centre Director and leadership team to maintain high standards of practice aligned with NQS, EYLF, and Tall Tree's philosophy.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a qualified, experienced, and passionate Early Childhood Teacher who brings warmth, approachability, and genuine enthusiasm to their teaching practice. The ideal candidate is someone who inspires others through their leadership, mentors with care, and is always willing to learn and grow. They are collaborative by nature, contributing positively to team culture while maintaining high standards of professional practice. A strong knowledge of early childhood education, coupled with practical experience, allows them to guide educators effectively and create meaningful, play-based learning experiences. Most importantly, they are passionate about the Reggio Emilia approach, fostering child-led exploration, curiosity, and holistic development in every interaction.

• Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in early childhood education
• Experience in a leadership, mentoring, or Educational Leader role
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and current early childhood practices
• Deep understanding and practical experience of the Reggio Emilia approach, fostering child-led exploration, inquiry-based learning, and holistic development
• Skilled in guiding practices, including coaching and mentoring educators to deliver intentional, high-quality learning experiences that reflect each child's interests, strengths, and developmental needs
• Inspire the team to implement best-practice approaches, champion innovative learning experiences, and support a culture of continuous professional growth
• Excellent planning, communication, and documentation skills, including creating meaningful learning stories, portfolios, and reflections that inform future practice
• Collaborative, supportive, and professional approach to teamwork, contributing positively to centre culture and community engagement
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
• Valid Working With Children Check
