About the Opportunity

Securecorp is excited to offer a Full-Time Control Room Operator position based in Hawthorn, supporting one of our valued clients in the Education Sector.

In this key role, you'll monitor alarms, CCTV, and access systems, coordinate emergency responses, and provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. We're seeking a professional with proven experience in control room, strong communication and multitasking skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Duties and Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will have the chance to:

  • Deliver exceptional security and customer service
  • Control Room Duties, CCTV, Access Control, Audits etc
  • IT Computer Duties
  • Guard, patrol, monitor, and control assigned premises
  • Respond to emergencies and alarm events, providing essential support
  • Assess and address potential risks
  • Manage access control
  • Write incident reports and maintain data logs

Key Selection Criteria

We're looking for candidates who:

  • Hold a current Security License – Must Have Control Room Endorsement – 1 yr + experience in the CR
  • Valid First Aid & CPR certification
  • Have proven experience in the security industry
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Can work collaboratively in a team or independently

Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.
