Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver hands-on training and assessments for HME operators and maintainers
  • Facilitate competency-based training aligned with site and national standards
  • Conduct field-based coaching and mentoring
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and training teams to identify skill gaps

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Extensive experience operating and/or maintaining Heavy Mining Equipment (e.g., trucks, loaders, dozers, graders)
  • Proven experience delivering training in a mining environment
  • Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g., diesel fitting, automotive, mechanical)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • Current National Police Clearance
  • Manual Driver's Licence
  • Full Australian working rights
