This role is for a Signage Layout and Production Assistant. This is not a Creative Design role.

We are seeking a Production Assistant with experience in graphic layout skills and hands-on signage production. This role offers you the opportunity to grow and develop your existing skills, ultimately becoming a standout in the signage industry.

This position is at the heart of the business, you will focus on setting up layout/mockups for the client (graphic design) and assisting the production team, which includes all aspects of layout design, print setup and cut files, and operating a wide-format printer (HP 365), plotter, and CNC router (training will be provided if required).

As a team, we design, manufacture, and install a wide range of signage projects using up-to-date technology and a variety of design and fabrication skills.

  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (38 hours per week).
  • An immediate start is available for this position.
  • Remuneration will be based on experience.
  • If you have experience with vehicle wrapping, that is a bonus.

Core duties include:

  • Design layouts for client proofs and print-ready files (Graphic Design skills needed, preferably Flexi Design software - Adobe Illustrator experience will help transition to Flexi Design.)
  • Printer (Latex HP 365), Laminator, Plotter & CNC operations (On-the-job training will be provided if required)
  • Assisting the production team & Sales team to meet deadlines
  • Assisting in producing signs (physical hands-on work)
  • Help out on installs as and when needed
  • Assist with phone enquiries and walk-ins (which include follow-up calls to clients)
  • When needed, create in-house marketing material to promote the business.
