About Us:

Pino's Vino e Cucina in Cronulla is a well-established Italian restaurant known for its warm hospitality, handmade pastas, and high-quality food with a modern twist. Since 2016, we've been offering an authentic Italian dining experience in a welcoming and professional environment. We're now looking for an experienced Section Waiter or Floor Manager to join our front-of-house team and help us continue delivering memorable guest experiences.

The Role:

We're seeking a confident, service-driven individual with a strong understanding of hospitality and a passion for Italian food and wine. You'll be responsible for running your own section or supervising the floor, providing excellent service, and supporting the team during busy shifts.

This role suits someone who enjoys creating connections with guests, works well under pressure, and leads by example.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver warm, professional, and efficient service to all guests
  • Manage and run a section or lead the floor during service
  • Support the team and ensure smooth daily operations
  • Maintain high standards of presentation and cleanliness
  • Help train and guide junior staff
  • Handle customer feedback with professionalism and care
  • Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures

About You:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar front-of-house role
  • Strong knowledge of food and wine, especially Italian cuisine and culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A friendly and positive attitude with strong attention to detail
  • Leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • RSA certification and full working rights in Australia
