Community Emergency Services Manager

The Shire of Toodyay is seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and suitably experienced Community Emergency Services Manager (CESM) to join our Infrastructure, Assets and Services team in a full-time permanent capacity in the role of Community Emergency Services Manager (CESM).
As the Community Emergency Services Manager (CESM), you will be responsible in the emergency management system, focusing on the delivery and implementation of preparedness, prevention, response, and recovery services.
The ideal candidate will:
- Proven experience in the application of the risk management standard as it applies to community risk, particularly in relation to community vulnerability planning.
 - Demonstrated extensive experience and knowledge of fire and emergency services industry, including understanding of the role of volunteers, local government and other stakeholders in an emergency services environment.
 - Experience in providing training.
 - Ability to take command and successfully manage bush fire and emergency operations.
 - Committed to obtaining the DFES workplace training and assessor course.
