Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a full-time Contracts Administrator to join our dynamic team on-site in Melville, WA.
As this is a key role, you MUST be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
Minimum Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will possess the following key skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience.
- Experience in accurate quantity take-offs with two and three-story homes.
- Ability to read custom, detailed residential drawings.
- Computer literate with strong knowledge of Excel, PlanSwift , Buildertrend, or Industry equivalent software.
- Be organised, reliable, and work well within a team environment.
- Possess strong oral and written communication skills. Hint Ensure your application has a customised cover letter addressing the criteria.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail.
- Proven negotiation skills with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
- Reviewing subcontractor quotes and providing support to the construction team.
- Control job costs.
- Scheduling and ordering of materials and issue of sub-contracts.
- Prepare cost estimates for variations and action.
- Sourcing, investigating, and liaising with suppliers and sub-contractors.
- Schedule material quantities for ordering.
- Day-to-day support of Site Supervisors.
