Full-Time | Fixed-Term | Commencing Term 4, 2025

St Michael's Grammar School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated English Teacher to join our Senior School team. This is a fixed-term position with a 1.0 teaching load, ideal for an educator passionate about inspiring students and contributing to a vibrant school community. The position will commence at the start of Term 4, 2025 and conclude at the end of the 2026 School Year.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons to mixed-ability classes. For Term 4 classes will be Years 7 to 10 but there will be the possibility of a VCE allocation in 2026 depending on your strengths.
  • Support student wellbeing through active participation in the School's pastoral care programs.
  • Contribute to the School's co-curricular offerings in accordance with the role's time fraction.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in teaching and learning.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in Secondary Education.
  • Current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
  • Anaphylaxis qualification.
  • Asthma Management and Level II First Aid qualifications are highly regarded.
