Broome Primary School (BPS) was established in 1901 and is the oldest established school in the Kimberley. BPS is established on Yawuru land and embraces the rich Aboriginal culture, along with the historical and diverse multicultural aspects of the Broome community. The Role
The successful applicant will ideally be highly motivated and possess professional knowledge, practice, and experience to deliver an engaging Music program in line with the Music Curriculum. The successful applicant should ideally be able to cater for different student needs using a range of teaching and learning strategies to engage and motivate all students.

The successful applicant would support major school directions and be committed to whole school approaches and initiatives. This would include the coordination of the School Choir, and having the skill set to oversee a School Band would be desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a willingness to liaise with colleagues, parents and external networks to establish strong community partnerships are also highly desired. Applicants with experience in performing arts are highly desirable.
