About the role:

We're looking for a self-motivated Digital Marketing & SEO Specialist to help grow three small, businesses (plumbing, building, and hairdressing) owned by the same family group.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who loves owning results, enjoys variety, and thrives with autonomy. You'll have direct access to the owners — no corporate layers, no red tape.

The Opportunity:

  • Build and execute SEO strategies to drive consistent leads
  • Optimise Google Business profiles (posts, services, photos, reviews, insights) and improve local search visibility
  • Research and target high-intent keywords optimising website, service and location pages
  • Plan, manage, and optimise digital advertising campaigns (Google Ads and/or Meta)
  • Track performance, analyse data, and report on outcomes that matter — calls, enquiries, bookings
  • Create, capture, edit, and schedule social media content, primarily for the plumbing business
  • Design basic marketing assets when required — social graphics, flyers, and promotional material
  • Support CRM tasks, including lead tracking and customer follow-ups where required
  • Collaborate with owners to identify growth opportunities across all businesses

What we're looking for

  • 5 + years proven experience in SEO and digital marketing, ideally for local or service-based businesses
  • Strong knowledge of local SEO and Google Business Profile optimisation
  • Confident with Google tools and ad platforms
  • Practical graphic design skills — you're comfortable creating your own assets
  • Highly self-motivated and self-managed — you'll be running this space and we trust you to do so
  • Results-driven mindset with a genuine interest in growth and performance – and you get things done
