Laboratory Technician

Based in Richmond, we are looking for Laboratory Technician that will be based at our Cedars Quarry.  Duties involve undertaking sampling of construction materials, preparation of test samples, testing and physical analysis of these samples, reporting of test results and maintenance of records.

The main responsibilities include:

• Conduct testing in accordance with laboratory work instructions, test methods, preparation instructions and manuals.
• Prescribed calibrations and checks of laboratory test equipment.
• Maintain, observe, and participate in the statutory Safety requirements of the Laboratory.
• Maintenance of the Laboratory NATA accreditation requirements.
