The Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll provide high-quality support to participants with complex needs, assisting them with daily activities, community access, and achieving their NDIS goals. You'll work as part of a dedicated team focused on making a real difference in people's lives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centered support in accordance with participant NDIS plans and goals
  • Assist with daily personal activities and community participation
  • Support participants with complex care needs in home and community settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and incident reporting
  • Work collaboratively with participants, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Uphold the highest standards of care, dignity, and respect

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year experience in disability support or related field
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Desirable

  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability)
  • Experience with HIDPA or complex care
  • Behavior support experience
  • Medication administration competency
