Broome Physio is a modern, community-focused physiotherapy clinic dedicated to providing high-quality care and exceptional client experience. We are looking for a confident, organised and proactive Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join our friendly team and play an important role in the smooth operation of our clinic.
About the Role
This is a fast-paced front-desk position where no two days are the same. You will be the first point of contact for patients, referrers and other health partners, so strong customer service and communication skills are essential. You will be responsible for managing appointments, taking phone calls, coordinating bookings, processing payments, providing clerical support and ensuring the reception area and clinic run efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Warm and professional front-desk greeting and phone handling
- Appointment management using Cliniko & HotDoc (training provided)
- Processing payments (EFTPOS/HICAPS/third-party billing)
- Email management and administrative correspondence
- Scanning and uploading documents to electronic patient files
- Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception and waiting area
- Supporting physiotherapists with admin, forms and referral workflow
- Problem-solving, anticipating needs, and taking initiative
About You
We are looking for someone who is mature, reliable, and highly organised with a strong ability to multi-task. This role suits someone who takes pride in staying organised, following processes, and keeping on top of details. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital systems
A positive, friendly and calm approach
Highly regarded (but not essential):
- Previous medical, allied health, dental or reception experience
- Experience using patient booking software, invoicing or medical admin
- Knowledge of the healthcare landscape (e.g. GP referrals, CDM plans, NDIS, Workers Comp)
