Laurieton Lakeside Aged Care Residence is seeking Assistants in Nursing to join our team today.

About the role:

The Assistant in Nursing (AIN)'s primary role is to provide safe and quality care for all residents at Laurieton Lakeside. AINs are responsible for maintaining resident safety, health, wellbeing, and quality of life whilst respecting each resident's needs and preferences.

Position Context

AINs provide supportive interventions to residents in all aspects of their daily living needs, including personal hygiene, grooming, mobility, participating in well-being activities, room presentation, linen changes, managing clothing, assistance with nourishment and meals and assisting Registered Nurses with simple clinical tasks.

PPT/Casual roles available

  • AM, PM

To be considered you will need the following:

  • Certificate individual support (Ageing) or Certificate III in Aged Care
  • Cert IV in Ageing Support highly preferable
  • Experience in aged care
  • Passion for delivering high quality care
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Current National Police Check
  • Be reliable, trustworthy, flexible, committed and honest
