About the role

In your new role as Slaughterman, you will be responsible for:

  • Perform halal slaughtering procedures
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are clean and maintained for hygienic processing
  • Work in compliance with health and safety regulations

About you

As a Halal Slaughterman, you will hold a Certified Halal Slaughterman Competency License or be of practicing Muslim faith to obtain one. Additionally, you will bring:

  • Australian citizen or permanent resident of Australia (legally entitled to work in Australia).
  • Experience working as slaughterman in meat processing advantageous but not essential
  • Must be able to speak basic English as no translators are available
  • Current Driver's License and reliable transportation
