Tuckshop Assistant

The Kuluin State School P&C are seeking a part time tuckshop assistant to join their team for 11 hours per week during term time with the possibility of increasing these hours in other P&C managed roles.  We are looking for a friendly, proactive, individual to join the existing multi-faceted team to help with the daily ongoing needs of tuckshop.

About you:


• Friendly, approachable, and self-motivated


• Demonstrated experience in food preparation/hospitality/kitchen environment.


• Strong organisational skills, the ability to prioritise and multitask.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• The ability to work within a wider team.


• Have a Blue Card or be eligible to apply for one.

About the role; key duties are to include but not limited to:

· Adhering to food hygiene and workplace health and safety standards

· Cooking and preparing food as per the preapproved menu

· Cleaning and maintenance of equipment

· Ensuring compliance with all Government regulations, legislation, standards and Education Queensland requirements

· Adhering to directions of the Tuckshop Convenor
