JH Hotels is seeking a professional and proactive Group Reservations Agent to join our expanding portfolio — representing three leading Darwin properties: H on Mitchell, The Heritage Darwin, and the upcoming voco Darwin Suites.


About the Role

As our Group Reservations Agent, you'll be the first point of contact for guests, corporates, and travel partners — managing bookings across our three hotels.

Your focus will be on accuracy, service excellence, and maximising occupancy through efficient reservations management and strong relationships with our partners.


Key Responsibilities
  • Handle phone, email, and online reservations across multiple properties
  • Manage OTA, GDS, and direct booking channels with precision
  • Liaise with Front Office and Revenue teams to optimise room allocations
  • Process group, corporate, and long-stay bookings efficiently
  • Maintain accurate guest records and payment details in PMS systems
  • Assist with daily pickup reports and rate loading as required
  • Deliver a professional, guest-first experience in every interaction

What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in hotel reservations or front office (Opera, RMS, or similar PMS)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure
  • A proactive attitude with a passion for guest service
  • Confidence in working with multiple brands and distribution systems
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Australian work rights are required for this position
