About the role

Through working with the City Architect and members of the Heritage and Urban Design Team, this position supports students undertaking studies in Architecture, Urban Design, or related disciplines by offering hands-on experience in urban design review, architectural and heritage assessment, and planning processes.

Remuneration

Student - Award Prescribed (up to $35, pro rata based on 21 hours + 12% Superannuation

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications

  • Current and ongoing enrolment in and substantial progress toward a tertiary qualification in Architecture, Urban Design or a closely related discipline.

  • Interest in urban design, built form planning, and sustainable development.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to conduct research and assist in analysis of design-related issues.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
