Concretors / Pit Builders

Vassallo Constructions is a family focused, civil construction and infrastructure contractor that has been operating and growing successfully in Central Queensland since 1997, undertaking a variety of project types and individual contracts up to $50M.  We employ a multi-skilled workforce of plant operators, truck drivers, pipelayers, concretors and labourers.

We are seeking experienced Concretors / Pit Builders to join our civil construction team in Mackay.

Applicants must have the following:

• Valid Construction Induction Safety Certificate (White Card)
• Current valid Australian Drivers Licence
• Previous relevant experience - concreting, pit builder, pipelaying, civils
• Own reliable transport
• Good attitude and willingness to learn
• Relevant qualifications - highly desirable
• Plant and Machinery tickets - highly desirable
• Heavy Vehicle licence - highly desirable

About the Roles:

Based in Mackay, you will be involved in civil construction projects in Central Queensland. Specifically, subdivision, road works, port facilities, other civil infrastructure works.

These roles require a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Please note these positions are based in Mackay and suit applicants living locally in and around Mackay. These are not FIFO roles
