Warehousing Trainee

HunterNet Career Connections in partnership with our host company are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team in Gateshead as a Warehousing Trainee. This is an exciting opportunity to kick start your career and complete a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations - Warehousing Operations. The successful applicant will complete a nationally recognised qualification over 24-months and begin a lifelong career with a reputable company right here in the Hunter.

As a trainee your daily duties may include:

• Unpacking received orders
• Packing orders in a timely manner to meet deadlines
• General housekeeping and cleanliness of warehouse area
• Sorting through stock and perform stock take daily
• Processing stock through computer system
• Following instructions for warehouse supervisor
• Manual handling of materials

What we're looking for:

• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Relevant experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and reliable
• Ability to work independently
• Commitment to the full term of the traineeship and study requirements
• Driver's licence and reliable transport
• Forklift licence or willing to obtain
