We operate through both B2B and B2C channels, supported by our own e-commerce platform and a physical retail store. Our delivery network serves customers nationwide, offering a curated range of premium Taiwanese ingredients and delicacies sourced directly from trusted Taiwanese suppliers and local importers.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Buyer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selecting, sourcing, and purchasing food and grocery products for resale across our retail and online channels. This role requires strong product knowledge, negotiation skills, and the ability to anticipate market trends within the Asian food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Select and purchase goods for resale in accordance with company strategy and market demand.
  • Monitor sales data, stock levels, and supplier performance to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotional activities, and supply terms with suppliers and distributors.
  • Design and implement product pricing, marketing, and display strategies to maximise sales performance.
  • Liaise with management on long-term procurement planning and seasonal promotions.
  • Analyse trade, market, and consumer data to anticipate trends and identify new product opportunities.
  • Ensure purchasing activities align with budgetary and seasonal requirements.

Qualification and Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 1-year relevant experience in a retail buying, procurement, or merchandising role.
  • At least Diploma or above qualification

Skills Requires:

  • Strong understanding of food retail trends, preferably in Asian or Taiwanese food products.
  • Proven negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
  • Ability to interpret sales data and forecast market demand.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Qualification in Business, Marketing, or a related field (desirable but not mandatory).
