Construction Labourer

Job Description

Working closely with the Foreman/Site Manager, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Perform general labouring duties including site preparation, material handling, loading and unloading, and maintaining site cleanliness
• Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision
• Ensure all materials and tools are used, stored, and maintained correctly.
• Follow directions from supervisors and work collaboratively with other team members
• Adhere to all workplace health and safety requirements, wearing appropriate PPE at all times.
• Report hazards, incidents, or equipment faults promptly.
• Perform other duties as directed to support the completion of the project.
• Assisting and supporting skilled tradespeople and site supervisors

Must have below requirements

• Minimum 12 months experience in construction (Australia or overseas)
• A valid White Card
• Reliability and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Physical fitness and stamina
• Punctual and team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to learn and develop construction skills
• Works well with other sub-contractors and suppliers onsite.
• Good with the tools.
• Has attention to detail.
• Is competent & can work unsupervised.
• Has good understanding and communication skills.
