We are seeking a full-time teacher to work across primary and lower secondary years. This role involves working within an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, deliver, and review personalised learning programs tailored to the individual needs of autistic students.
Your day may include:
- Collaborate with allied health professionals and support staff to develop and review personalised learning plans.
- Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching aligned with: Australian Curriculum (Foundation to Year 10), QCAA's Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement (QCIA), Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and NCCD requirements
- Monitor and report on student progress through observation, data collection, and stakeholder communication.
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and external partners.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed student reports.
- Engage with students' shared enrolment settings to support consistency across learning environments.
- Supervise Teacher Aides and allocate tasks to support learning outcomes.
- Participate in playground supervision as timetabled.

- Current teaching registration (e.g., QCT)
- Experience or strong interest in working with autistic students
- Knowledge of inclusive, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Organised, reflective, and committed to professional growth
