Graphic Designer

About the role:

We are seeking a mid level Graphic Designer to support the marketing function for our Medical Indemnity insurance division. This is a permanent, full time role based in our Darling Park, Sydney CBD offices.

This role would suit a corporate graphic designer with the ability to create visual messages and experiences that communicate information and ideas across many media types. With knowledge of current developments and trends, the role involves interpreting your internal stakeholders needs to design solutions with strong visual impact.

The role involves working within a small marketing team to design, develop and produce creative assets for print and digital marketing channels, as well as creating and maintaining all branded material, collateral and business stationery. Provide new and innovative design ideas to enhance our brand in the market, whilst staying true to brand guidelines.

Key activities in this role will include:

• Develop corporate and marketing materials for member acquisition, conversion and retention campaigns.
• Develop design and layout for print and digital collateral.
• Update key insurance material such as PDS', policy schedules and application forms.
• Manage supplier relationships with our external partners for the production of creative materials.
• Act as the advocate for the brand across the organisation, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have the following experience:

• Tertiary design qualification and 4-5 years design experience.
• Previous experience working in the insurance industry, financial services or an agency.
• Extensive experience and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud including: Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects would be desirable.
• Corporate, digital and print design experience with strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience supporting a high-volume design team with multiple priorities and delivery deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders.
