Our Mining Group

Our global team of over 5,200 dedicated mining professionals are supporting the industry to decarbonise mining operations in the accelerating green transition. Working collaboratively across borders and disciplines, you'll join a leading team working on interesting and complex projects. We are experts in our field, and we are passionate about mining.

What you'll do:

  • Work on study projects and ensure the study deliverables and documentation meet client and operational requirements.
  • Develop study project schedules, budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor and report on project quality, cost and schedules.
  • Develop and implement project controls and specifications, schedules and cost estimates
  • Monitor progress and performance against the project plan and when required take action to resolve problems and minimise delays.
  • Reporting to the Project Manager, work collaboratively with your team as well as other internal teams, disciplines, and the wider business.
  • Play a critical role in building strong relationships with the client through the client interface.
  • As required, help to prepare winning proposals and contribute to our ongoing growth.

About You

You're likely to have more than 3 years of experience in Civil Project Engineering, with previous experience working on engineering study or design projects. In addition, you will bring the following skills and attributes:

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Previous experience working within engineering mining or rail projects.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and foster good working relationships.
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • A desire to continue your professional growth and learning, and enthusiasm to contribute to the successful delivery of heavy haul rail projects.
  • Understanding of heavy haul rail projects will be well-regarded, but not necessary.
