Travel Consultant - Adventure Travel

Hybrid (3 office / 2 WFH - Sydney) | $69K + Super + Uncapped Comms (OTE $75K-$85K)

Our client is a boutique travel company recognised for creating once-in-a-lifetime journeys to some of the world's most remote and fascinating destinations. They're now seeking an experienced Travel Consultant with a passion for storytelling, exploration, and delivering exceptional client experiences.

This role is ideal for consultants with experience in retail or wholesale travel, and a love for cruise, or adventure-style itineraries.

About the Role

In this role, you'll design tailor-made travel experiences for clients who value depth, authenticity, and adventure. From initial enquiry through to post-trip follow-up, you'll manage the full booking process and bring each itinerary to life with your destination knowledge and personal touch.

Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound travel enquiries and end-to-end bookings
  • Create bespoke itineraries tailored to individual traveller interests
  • Deliver outstanding service and attention to detail throughout the client journey
  • Collaborate with international suppliers and partners
  • Identify opportunities to personalise and enhance each booking

About You

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Travel Consultant (retail, wholesale, or niche travel)
  • Knowledge or passion for adventure, expedition, or cruise travel
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to achieve sales or service targets
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisation
  • A genuine love of adventure and creating memorable travel experiences
