About the role

Southern Gold Coast Lawyers' is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our thriving legal practice in Palm Beach, Queensland. As a Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of solicitors, assisting with a wide range of legal matters and helping to ensure the smooth running of our firm.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting legal research and analysis to support our solicitors
  • Drafting and preparing legal documents such as contracts, letters, and court filings
  • Organising and maintaining client files and case records
  • Communicating with clients and other parties involved in legal matters
  • Providing administrative support to the legal team as needed
  • Participating in client meetings and court proceedings
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience as a Paralegal or in a similar legal support role
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Proficient in using legal software and databases
  • A keen interest in the legal field and a commitment to providing exceptional client service
  • Relevant qualifications, such as a Paralegal Certificate or Law Degree, would be highly regarded
