Our Jansz Pontos Hills Winery, at the Hill-Smith Family estate vineyard in the Coal River Valley is designed and engineered to craft world-class sparkling wines with an emphasis on innovation and sustainability.

About the role

We are now recruiting for motivated experienced Cellar Hands, based at our Jansz Pontos Hills Winery in Penna, 30 kilometres northeast of Hobart.

Commencing early February this is a rare opportunity to undertake a role where you can utilise your full range of skills across cellar operations and make a direct contribution to the winery's operation.

Key tasks and responsibilities include

  • Vintage processes
  • General cellar operations
  • Forklift operations
  • Filtration operations
  • Working in confined spaces and at heights
  • Ability to work well within a team and independently
  • Working safely and in accordance with procedures

About you

We are looking for candidates with relevant Cellar experience or a background in a related industry and who enjoy working and communicating with others in a positive work environment.

Shift work and overtime will be required as necessary to meet the demands of the business.

A current valid forklift licence is essential.
