About the role

As a Sales Consultant for Commercial Gym Equipment at Southern Cross Fitness Store, you will play a vital role in helping businesses and fitness facilities find the right equipment to meet their needs. This full-time position is based in our Cardiff, NSW location and will involve assisting clients throughout the entire sales process, from initial consultation to final delivery and installation.

What you'll be doing

  1. Engaging with potential clients to understand their fitness equipment requirements and budget
  2. Work alongside our experience retail sales team in a huge retail showroom Monday - Saturday on a rotating roster
  3. Proposing customised solutions using Southern Cross Fitness Store's wide range of commercial gym equipment including the ARROW Fitness brand
  4. Preparing detailed quotes and proposals to present to clients
  5. Coordinating the delivery, installation and after-sales support for all equipment sold
  6. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business
  7. Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and product innovations
  8. Contributing to the overall sales and revenue targets of the Southern Cross Fitness Store & ARROW Fitness
  9. Maintaining customer relationships to improve service and results

What we're looking for

  1. Proven sales experience, preferably within the fitness, gym equipment industry or high end goods & appliances
  2. A minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated sales experience
  3. Strong customer service skills and the ability to understand and meet client needs
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively pitch products and close sales
  5. Technical knowledge of gym equipment and their applications
  6. Intermediate knowledge of gym equipment specifications, functionality, and applications
  7. A passion for fitness and helping businesses achieve their health and wellness goals
  8. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  9. Advanced computer skills including Office software and Apple computers
