Workfast is seeking experienced MC Drivers for our client completing regular Cement Bulka Bag runs from Naval Base, WA to Kalgoorlie, WA.

This role involves transporting 54 bulka bags via pocket road trains, overnighting in Kalgoorlie, delivering to mine sites, and returning to Perth for the next load. You will average 2-3 loads per week.

What you get

  • $47.61 per hour + penalties
  • $30.00 Meal Allowance after 11 hours worked
  • $67.50 Per Night Living Away From Home Allowance (LAFHA)
  • Consistent ongoing work with 2-3 loads per week
  • Weekly hours vary depending on number of loads completed - potential for hours
  • Overnight yard stay in Kalgoorlie with access to shower/meal preparation facilities - sleep in the truck

What you need

  • Current MC Driver's Licence
  • Proven pocket road train experience
  • Load restraint skills for securing bulka bags
  • Current Commercial Driver's Medical (mandatory)
  • WorkSafe WA Fatigue Management Certificate (can be obtained online)
  • Ability to pass a driving/reversing test with trailers attached
  • Preference for candidates living between Hazelmere and Naval Base for ease of travel

What you'll be doing

  • Loading, strapping, and transporting 54 bulka bags safely to Kalgoorlie
  • Overnighting in yard before completing mine site delivery
  • Returning to Perth for reload and repeat runs
  • Operating modern, well-maintained trucks
  • Ensuring all safety, fatigue management, and load restraint requirements are met
