An exciting large-scale charity hiking event is coming to Victor Harbor, and we're looking for energetic and reliable event staff to help deliver a fun, well-run, and inspiring experience for participants.

This is a paid opportunity to work outdoors, support a great cause focused on mental health and wellbeing, and be part of a passionate team for one rewarding day.

Event Roles & Shifts

Shift 1 – 20km Start Line

Time: 8:00am – 2:00pm

Kings Beach Trail Head, Kings Beach Road

Duties:

• Set up and pack down event area
• Distribute participant bibs
• Cheer on and support walkers at the start line

Shift 2 – Rest Stop 1

Time: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Location: Muwerang Kent Reserve, Kent Drive, Victor Harbor

Duties:

• Help set up and pack down site
• Guide and motivate participants
• Provide snacks and drinks

Shift 3 – Rest Stop 2

Time: 10:00am – 5:30pm

Chiton Rocks Surf Life Saving Club, Hindmarsh Esplanade

Duties:

• Assist with event site setup and pack down
• Support and direct walkers
• Provide refreshments

Pay & Perks

• $35/hour + superannuation
• $88 travel allowance (per day)
• $15 food/coffee voucher
