Store Manager – Melton Homemaker Centre (1-Year Contract)
I Love This Shop Melton is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Store Manager to lead our team at the Melton Homemaker store. This is a 1-year maternity relief position, with the opportunity to make a real impact in a much-loved retail business. Our business is growing and there may be opportunities for other positions in our broader business post the 1-year period.
About the Role
Reporting directly to the Director, you'll oversee the day-to-day running of the store and work closely with the Manager of the I Love This Shop Melton High Street store. This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading, coaching and motivating the team to deliver excellent customer service
- Driving sales to achieve and exceed store targets
- Merchandising and ensuring the store looks its best every day
- Managing stock ordering, receiving and inventory control
- Building strong supplier relationships
- Working closely with the team to implement strategies and grow the business

- Proven retail management experience
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- A flair for merchandising and creating inspiring displays
- Highly organised with excellent time management
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a focus on results
- Passion for customer service and creating a welcoming store environment
