An experienced barista/all-rounder is a hospitality professional skilled in both coffee preparation and a wide range of cafe duties, including customer service, food and drink preparation, and operational tasks like cleaning and stock management. This role requires the ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment, and have strong customer service skills. Key responsibilities

  • Barista skills: Preparing and serving specialty coffee drinks with accuracy and consistency.
  • Customer service: Taking orders, handling payments, and providing friendly service to customers.
  • Food and beverage: Preparing food items and serving drinks other than coffee.
  • Operational tasks: Restocking, cleaning, and general cafe maintenance to ensure a presentable and efficient workspace.
  • Stock management: Checking and rotating stock as
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar roll preferred
  • Multitasking: The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial.
  • Teamwork: Working effectively with other staff members.
  • Speed and efficiency: Performing duties quickly and efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
  • Customer-focused: A passion for customer service and the ability to engage with customers.
  • Flexibility: Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and early mornings is often needed.
  • Skills:Proficiency in operating espresso machines and an understanding of coffee preparation techniques.
  • Soft skills:Excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Availability:A flexible schedule that may include weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required by the employer Preferably same shifts each week

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $70,000.00 – $85,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
