We're seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of a bespoke new home project commencing in 2026. This is a hands-on leadership role—ideal for someone who thrives on site and takes pride in bringing exceptional homes to life.


The Role

You'll be responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating all on-site activities to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget, and to Lancaster Homes' exacting standards.

This position combines site management and hands-on carpentry, offering variety and autonomy every day.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day site operations and leading an in-house carpentry team
  • Scheduling and coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries
  • Ensuring works are carried out to plans, specifications, and safety standards
  • Maintaining exceptional quality control and attention to detail
  • Booking council and private certifier inspections
  • Communicating directly with clients to provide updates and site meetings
  • Managing workflow schedules and on-site organisation

About You

You're a proactive leader who's as comfortable on the tools as you are managing a team. You bring a professional attitude, strong organisational skills, and a genuine passion for building homes of the highest quality.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Certificate III in Carpentry (or higher)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a foreman or site supervisor role
  • Strong background in new home construction
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams
  • Excellent communication and client-relationship skills
  • A current driver's licence
