SUPPORTING THE SPECTRUM - CLINIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Are you looking to be part of an innovative service which prides itself on helping children reach their full potential, supporting child development, and connecting communities? We are looking for a passionate, vibrant and outgoing Occupational Therapist to join our team at Supporting the Spectrum.

The role is based in our newly opened Bibra Lake Clinic ( Roar Active Carpark) where you will work in a highly supportive dynamic team environment to:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for NDIS participants.

- Provide Paediatric OT Supports

- Provide guidance and supervision to AHA L1 & L2

- Collarborate with multidiscplinary teams including other OT's, Physiotherapists, Speech Therapists, Families AHA's and other support staff.

The Occupational Therapist (OT) is responsible for delivering and evaluating therapy sessions to support children's developmental and functional goals within a paediatric setting. The OT works in collaboration with an Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to provide high-quality, engaging, and client-centred sessions.

The OT leads the design and facilitation of therapy activities, tailoring strategies to each child's individual needs, and monitors progress against therapy goals. The AHA provides essential support by assisting with session preparation, including the set-up of equipment and resources, engaging with children during activities where required, and ensuring pack-up and organisation of therapy materials at the conclusion of sessions.

Together, the OT and AHA work as a team to create a supportive, structured, and enjoyable therapy environment that promotes skill development, independence, and confidence for each child.

This role is perfect if you want to level up your skills in an innovative area and if you're looking for additional employment.
