About the Opportunity

As an Exercise Physiologist, you will be instrumental in transforming clients' lives through personalised health interventions and comprehensive support that enhances their independence and overall wellbeing.

Working dynamically across both individual sessions and group settings, you will apply your expertise to assess physical capabilities, identify limitations, and develop targeted strategies that maximise each client's potential for improved health outcomes.

Through close collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will create and implement evidence-based exercise programs, deliver insightful health behaviour counselling, and provide exercise prescriptions tailored to individual needs and goals.

Your role will extend beyond direct client care to include developing educational resources that support long-term client success and compliance, while maintaining the highest standards of care delivery.

About You

As an Exercise Physiologist with a Bachelor's degree and proven case management experience, you will deliver exceptional care that enhances the independence and quality of life of our older adult community.

Your deep understanding of the physical, emotional, and cultural needs of older adults, including those with cognitive implications, enables you to create meaningful interventions and personalised exercise programs that respect each individual's unique circumstances.

Drawing on your expertise and proactive mindset, you will develop innovative solutions while maintaining a compassionate approach, ensuring the highest standard of care for all clients.

Essential Criteria

• Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (or similar qualification resulting in eligibility for ESSA Accreditation as an Exercise Physiologist)
• Experience in client case management
• Drivers licence

Desirable

• 3+ yrs experience, group class experience
