About the Role: This position performs moderate research, design, and software development assignments within a specific software functional area or product line.

Responsibilities:

· Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate complexity

· Completing simple bug fixes and resolving technical issues

· Working closely with other Development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs

· Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders

· Keeping abreast of new technology developments

Requirements:

· Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Have some knowledge of test-driven development

· Have an ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.

· Have a basic knowledge of Software Development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

· Be familiar with industry best practices, such as code coverage

· Have a good understanding of data modeling principles, data manipulation languages, and storage systems

· Be proficient in development languages, including JAVA_J2EE, JavaScript, JSP, C_C++, HTML, XML, SQL, Windows, UNIX, and .Net

· Have a BS degree in Engineering_Computer Science or equivalent experience

· Have some Software Engineering experience
