Painter/Blaster

GEM Resourcing is recruiting for a Trade Qualified Painter Blasters in Hazelmere, WA 6055. This position is a long-term opportunity to work with a reputable company within the Transport and Mining space. The job will require you to work with various types of mining equipment in a painting and blasting environment. 

About the role:

We are looking for candidates who have experience with both painting and blasting. We seek someone with the right attitude and mentality to join our team long-term. We are happy to provide training when required and ensure our staff are happy and safe at work. 

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Apply coatings through conventional, airless, and plural spray systems.
  • Knowledge of various painting methods and applications.
  • Knowledge of various blasts.
  • Prepare surfaces.
  • Understanding or reading of drawings and/or blueprints Safe operation of construction tools and equipment Grinding, sanding, and polishing Painting, caulking, and sealing
